Creative Holiday Market, November 4th!

I have always been a maker. At a young age, I would search for materials around the house and begin to see possibities. I come from a family of creatives, When me or my sisters asked for things, we were quickly told that we should just make it. Every holiday, my sister and her friends would showcase handmade items in a home show in our tiny town. Every room was filled with little treasures that were hand made by locals. The public could step inside a cider scented home and choose local, handmade gifts. When I was invited to participate, I rolled tiny strips of paper into shapes that were glued together to form a quilled snowflake ornament. I was rolling and gluing paper all year, and even created a complete nativity scene out of paper. These shows gave me a sense of purpose for my creating and the public loved all the one of a kind gifts.

Creativity is at the core of Thrive Creative Community. Nurturing creativity is a beautiful way to express ourselves, gain confidence, lower stress, and have some fun along the way. To encourage creativity and support our members, Thrive is hosting its first Creative Holiday Market on November 4th. Just like my sister’s home show, members get to showcase their work to the public. We invite you to step inside our home and enjoy creations made locally, by hand and with a lot of love. Stop by November 4th, 1-5pm at, 3213 Galena Street, Denver. Central Park Neighborhood.
