Get inspired, learn something new and get a little exercise with this Art and Adventure course. Grab your walking shoes and hike along as we explore beautiful Copper Mountain, Colorado. We will learn about the area's history as we walk, and then get inspired with texture in the snow. After our adventure, we will gather art supplies and create a clay tile! Supplies: walking shoes, clay, rolling pin, wax paper, texture items, knife or scissors, water, optional paint, gesso, paintbrush and varnish. YOUR GUIDE Carol Fennell is a artist and nature lover.

Create your own handmade paper in this instructive course. You will need; 80 lb drawing paper, copy paper, tissue paper, paintbrushes, water, stencils, stamps, tools for marking like a credit card. Your guide: Carol Fennell has been a full time artist for over twenty five years. She is passionate about bridging art, wellness and community and is co-founder of Thrive Creative Community. Her love of texture, including paper, clay and mixed media are found in her large scale sculptural wall pieces. Her work is shown in galleries, installed in public spaces and collected privately across the country.
