About the event
Aging with Grace and Growth
· Aging is often a nasty- four letter word in our society. If you stop to ask anyone in their 30's and above if they would go back to being a teen or 20 something, you will most likely get a resounding NO! We hate to think of ourselves as aging, but in no way do we want to go back to being "young." Aging has benefits and it's those benefits we live-out in our later years that keep us from wanting to turn back time. We can age with grace despite the ugly messages that bombard us. If you know where to look, you can find stories of individuals stepping into later life with full glory and inspiring others as they do so. In this session we will discuss what holds us back from aging with grace and growth and how we can step into our lives as humans who age, 'cause it's better than the alternative!
